An oasis with a water collection point and a mature groves of trees around the plant. It is just south of Abdaly and just off the Basra Road (Highway 80).
The trees and small reedbed have attracted passerine migrants over the years, so it is worth stopping off here on the way to Abdaly Farms and taking a walk around the perimeter of the plant.
Interesting migrants recorded here include; Corn Crake, Basra Reed Warbler, Indian Reed Warbler, Humes and Yellow-browed Warbler, Shikra, Common Woodpigeon and Oriental Turtle Dove.
