      Where in Kuwait
Occurs on coastal brackish lagoons, tidal mud and sand-flats and also inland on the muddy edges of marshes, pools (both saline and freshwater) and irrigated farmland. This elegant bird is very social, forming large groups with other waders such as the Dunlin
      In the world
It has an extremely large range with an increasing population and is a full migrant, moving long distances by well-travelled routes. During the autumn migration adults precede the juveniles; with males leaving 3-4 weeks before the females and females leaving before the juveniles. Males do not take part in parental care, instead females group together to build nests, incubate and raise their broods.
