    Information
Extremely rare vagrant. A single immature bird was found at Jahra Pool in November 1997. This bird is the commonest of the three swan species in the Western Palearctic; all may very rarely occur well south of their normal wintering areas due to severe winters. 
      Where in Kuwait 
    Only 1 record for Kuwait that was seen inland from the coast at Jahra Pools Reserve.
      In the world 
    Patchily distributed across temperate middle latitudes and breeds on fresh water lakes and human influenced habitats.
      Local threats 
    Shooting is a threat for Geese and Ducks during passage migration.
